Meal Preparation Guide
Our dehydrated meals are light, compact, and nutritious—not freeze-dried. Most rehydrate in 20–30 minutes using boiling water for best results.
Step 1: Rehydrate
- Pot meals: Add boiling water, soak 20–30 minutes.
- Bag meals: Add hot water, soak 20–30 minutes.
- Tip: Soak overnight in an airtight container for convenience.
Step 2: Cook
- Dry meals: Sauté until warm.
- Soups & liquids: Bring to a boil, stir, and serve.
Detailed Meal Preparation Instructions
Breakfasts
Eggs, Meat, Quinoa & Vegetables
- Rehydrate meat/quinoa & vegetables: ½ cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Rehydrate eggs: 6 tbsp cold water, whisk, then sauté with meat/veg and scramble.
Hashbrowns, Meat & Vegetables
- Rehydrate meat/vegetables: ½ cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Rehydrate hashbrowns: 7–10 min.
- Sauté together in one pot or two pans.
Dinners
- Rehydrate: 1 cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Boil to desired consistency.
- Add toppings or mix-ins as desired.
Desserts
- Rehydrate fruit: ¼ cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Pudding: ⅛ cup water, whisk until smooth.
Salads
- Rehydrate: ½ cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Drain and mix with seasoning before serving.
Soups
- Rehydrate: 1 cup hot water per serving, 20–30 min.
- Gently boil before serving.
- Add seasonings or toppings as desired.
